Jensen Huang founded NVIDIA in 1993 and has served since his inception as president and chief executive officer.

Since its founding, NVIDIA has pioneered accelerated computing. The company’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market and redefined computer graphics. Over the last 10 years, Jensen Huang has pursued a clear strategic thinking to lay out the strategy at Nvidia. He recognized the potential of GPUs in AI and machine learning, leading Nvidia to become a leader in the field of deep learning and neural networks. By steering the company towards AI-focused solutions, Huang anticipated a major technological shift, enabling Nvidia to dominate the market with GPUs optimized for AI workloads.
